Vaccination Campaigns - 2024
Spring Covid-19 Vaccinations - 22nd April - 30th June 2024
This spring’s eligible cohorts include:
- Adults aged 75 years and over by 30 June 2024
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed.
- Residents in care homes for older adults
Eligibility for a spring vaccination is similar to previous years but those with a weakened immune system are now eligible from 6 months instead of 5 years.
Spring vaccinations will be available until 30 June 2024.
Anyone eligible can book a vaccine appointment,
- via the NHS.UK website or your NHS App
- by calling 119 for free,
Parents or carers able to book a Covid-19 vaccination for children under 16 on their behalf.
The NHS is sending texts, emails, NHS App messages or letters to those who are eligible, but you do not have to wait for the invite to book.
Housebound patients and those in Care homes will be contacted seperately by our community nursing team.
